Inspiration for EVERYBODY!

I don't think that there's any one source that I can point to and say that's where all my inspiration comes from. So here's a small list of people I listen to and draw from. I've also added links to their sites if you want to further explore these people.

First off we have this man here,

This is Olan Rogers to any of you who don't know him. I first found him on youtube where he found his claim to fame (more or less.) But what inspires me about him is that he got to where he is now just doing what he loves and letting his personality flourish into his work. He just does what he loves and is willing to pour his heart into others accordingly.
Here's a link to his youtube page,

And another to his website,

So another guy that just inspires me to make really fun work has to be Alex Solis,

He does a lot of t-shirt design work and is really good at illustrations. I really enjoy looking through his work from time to time just to get inspired and as a reminder to have fun with whatever project I'm working on. Here's his site,

Something to Inspire You, and Something to Annoy You

So here's the thing, everyone has their own opinion as to what makes up a good design and what doesn't. Here's a poster (cause I like poster design a lot) that I think really pulls off its concept well. After having recently seeing the movie and falling in love with it, I found the design to be very fitting to the movie's aesthetic which is a little ironic when you consider the deep shadows used in the movie.

The poster itself was designed by John Aslarona and I feel that it captures the isolated feeling that Ridley Scott made so real to the viewer in the movie.

On the other hand, one of my friends showed me this clip the other day and it has rung with me ever since. If you want to know what pure evil looks like, then look no further than this clip on how to annoy a designer.

Here's a few projects that I've completed within the last year.
